Fire alarms
We design fire alarm systems based on the environments and applicable regulations, using VKF‑approved components when required and after verification of the relevant model and configuration.
Fire alarms designed for real environments and specifications.
Smoke, heat and environmental conditions do not appear the same way in every building. Kitchens, warehouses, technical rooms, offices and production areas can generate different phenomena and require specific detection technologies. For this reason the project starts from the intended use of the rooms, the materials present, the ordinary conditions and the way a signal must be recognized.
Telecom Security coordinates detectors, control panel, acoustic or optical devices and technical interfaces defined by the project. When the fire‑prevention concept or the applicable specifications require it, VKK‑approved components are selected for the intended use. Approval is verified on the individual model and the relevant configuration, without extending the claim to uncontrolled products.
Evaluation of environments
Analysis of use, geometry, normal conditions, dust, vapours and other characteristics that influence the choice of detection.
VKK‑approved components
Selection of VKK‑approved components when required, with verification of the model, application field and project specifications.
Detection and control panel
Organization of devices and zones so that the source of a signal can be clearly identified.
Signal and interfaces
Coordination of alarms and functions towards other building systems when provided and technically compatible.
Documentation and testing
Recording of configurations and functional verification of installed components before handover.
How we work
- 01
Requirements gathering
We examine intended uses, available documents and guidance from authorities or fire‑prevention specialists.
- 02
Detection choice
We define zones and technologies in relation to expected phenomena and the ordinary conditions of the rooms.
- 03
Installation and programming
We install the components, configure the logic and planned interfaces and clearly identify the zones.
- 04
Test and delivery
We perform the required functional checks and illustrate reports and behaviors to the responsible parties.
Frequently asked questions
Are the fire alarm components VKF approved?
When the project or applicable specifications require it, VKF‑approved components are selected for the intended use. Approval is not assumed for an entire product family: it is verified on the model, on the field of use and on the concrete configuration before the proposal.
What type of detector is needed in an environment?
The choice depends on the phenomena that may develop and the normal conditions of the space. Smoke, heat, dust, steam or special processes can affect the detection principle. Therefore a technical assessment is needed and, when applicable, reference to the fire‑prevention concept.
Is a fire alarm mandatory in every building?
No. Obligations depend on the building’s purpose, size, occupancy, protection concept and the decisions of the competent authorities or insurer. Formal necessity and requirements must be verified for the specific case.
